Because in this game, humans are known as Saltborn, and since they are for the most part composed of it, the salt will be giving you power. While exploring, you will run into lots of other NPCs, each with a side story.
By talking to those NPCs you will learn that the island is actually made up of replicas of some incredibly dangerous locations from different continents of the world. How, you may wonder? Some sort of “power” has collected them all together and created a cursed realm that you have to explore. You will have to focus on defeating the Nameless God, an incredibly powerful mortal being which has a desire to become a divine being, but has no way of achieving that dream.
This game brings you a combination of fast, brutal and complex combat to keep the adrenaline rushing through your veins as you advance in your quests! There’s plenty of things for you to do, as there are over 600 weapons, armor pieces, spells and other items to discover and craft while exploring the cursed lands of forgotten cities, dungeons and desecrated monuments, along with the fallen lords that those monuments have once celebrated.
